Duncan Anzala

Anzala is the Head of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.

He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a LLB (Hons) Degree from Moi University and was called to the Bar in February, 2008. He also holds a post-graduate Diploma in law from Kenya School of Law.

Anzala has a keen eye in resolving litigation disputes and been involved in some of the leading cases. He is also a patent agent.

  1. Represented more than 1000 Advocates in a case pitting them against the Law Society of Kenya up to the Supreme Court.
  2. Represented members of the Co-operative Tribunal in challenging the constitutionality of some sections of the Co-operative Societies Act, Cap 490 Laws of Kenya.
  3. Successfully represented an advertising firm in an intellectual property dispute that culminated in the removal of the infringing product countrywide.
  4. Successfully represented a Mining Company in protecting its interest of about 400km2 against threatened take over by the government and third parties.
  5. Represented Construction Companies in various Arbitrations relating to construction disputes.
  6. Represented the Vice-Chancellor of a leading university in an employment dispute against the University.
  7. Represented the Law Society of Kenya in a petition to challenge decision by the Ministry of Lands on digitization of Conveyancing transactions
